Hex Horus attended this year’s 2017 DSEI event in London, networking with likeminded companies in pursuit of counter drone solutions. This was a great opportunity to have a look at some of the latest technologies, concepts and innovations and to get amongst the detail of what is now available for our clients.

Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) is the world leading event that brings together the global defence and security sector to innovate and share knowledge. DSEI represents the entire supply chain on an unrivalled scale. We will definitely be attending next year.

The Drone Problem Presentation

September, 2017 - Belfast

Hex Horus presented the Drone problem presentation to a bespoke audience at the Stormont Hotel, Belfast. This was a fantastic opportunity to share our insights on the issue of Drones and their potential to affect Prisons, Airports and Law Enforcement operations.

We demonstrated how easy it was to use commercial off the shelf drones for drug smuggling, weaponization and highlighted some of the more insidious activities carried out by terrorist organisations.

In attendance were a cross section from the local government including MLA Andy Allen (East Belfast), The Vice Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Alex Baird and Dr Leslie Orr, Director – ADS N Ireland
